Tracey L. Fielding

Tracey L. Fielding ~ 39, of Lawrence, formerly of Derry, NH, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 6, 2018 Tracey was born in Glendale, AZ on September 10, 1978 and was raised and attended school in Derry, NH. She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Class of 1996 and then attended the University of New Hampshire.

Tracey had a long and successful career in marketing at several different companies where she had the opportunity to travel to adventurous worldwide places such as Dubai and Paris. More recently had enjoyed working locally at a restaurant supply company where she was involved in all aspects of the company as an in-house human resources administrator.

Tracey was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and niece. She was loved by many family, friends and co-workers. She impacted all she came in contact with. Tracey was loyal, compassionate, honest, funny, and would do anythng for those she loved. Tracey loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling in the US and abroad , New England sports teams, music, concerts,theatre, and vacations with her friends. She had always planned to have a lake house one day.

Tracey’s loving family members include her mother, Patricia (Smolinsky) Fielding, her father Richard Fielding, and her sister Julie Fielding.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 11 from 11:00 am – 1:45 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.

Mary E. Denning

Mary  E.  (Mutch) Denning – 97, of Newburyport, formerly of Charlemont, North Reading and Medford, died Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles T. Denning.

Born in Ainslee Point, Nova Scotia, Canada on June 17, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Elsie M. (MacKay) Mutch. Mary was a raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School.

Mary was an office worker for many years for Touraine’s in Boston and for the Lynnway VW in Lynn. She was very caring, she loved gardening, sewing, cooking, baking and especially reading. She was a great seamstress and loved clothes and fashion. Mary loved her cats, her privacy and was very independent.

Family members include her Loving stepdaughter, Pamela Denning of North Reading, 10 nephews and 11 nieces, including Cheryl Stiles, Susan Leeman and Heidi Brickley. She was the sister of the late Duncan and George Mutch, Alfreda Taylor, Jessie Wilson, Elsie Brown and Irene Freeman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. Maureen T. Nevin

Maureen  T.  Nevin – 74, died July 29, 2018, following a long illness.  Born in Melrose, MA on December 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John J. Nevin and Delia (Sheridan) Nevin.  Family members include her sisters Patricia Barrett and her husband Richard Barrett of North Reading, Sheila Nevin of Harwich, and brother John Nevin and his wife Colleen Nevin of Kodiak, Alaska.  She was the loving aunt to Sean Barrett of Tampa, Florida, Jennifer Jablonski of McFarland, Wisconsin, and Denise Talty of Methuen, and Maggie, Aaron and Anthony Nevin of Kodiak, Alaska

Maureen graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Melrose, Class of 1961 and received a B.A. degree in English from Merrimack College, North Andover, Class of 1965.  She worked as a Medical Librarian at Mass. General Hospital and at McGill University Medical School in Montreal, Canada.  She was also a Librarian at the Malden and Wakefield Public Libraries.  She was the Branch Librarian at Montrose Library in Wakefield and the reference Librarian at Wakefield  Library.

She enjoyed worldwide travels and was always an avid reader and dog lover. Her family and friends will miss her forever. Paul G. Jones

Paul  G. Jones – 77, of Palm Coast , FL., formerly of Sandown, NH  and Charlestown, MA., passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018.

Born in Boston, MA on June 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Maurice Jones and Alice (Mair) Ash. He was a graduate of Charlestown High School.

Paul was devoted to his family, he had a great sense of humor and had a very colorful personality. He enjoyed traveling cross country in his RV, hunting, fishing and the New England Patriots. He was a vocational teacher at Northeast Vocational High School and then an electrical engineer at Schneider Electric in Andover, MA, where he retired from in 2006.

Family members include his beloved late wife Emily (Chase) Jones; his daughter, Susan Jones of Palm Coast, FL; his son Paul J. Jones of Boca Raton, FL.; brother of Thomas Jones and his wife Kathleen of Falmouth, MA, Daniel Jones and his wife Lucille of North Reading and Alice Young of Enfield, CT; he was the brother of the late Maurice Jones, Katherine Vaughan, Fred Jones and Alan Jones; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Jones of Lynn , Laura Jones of Wrentham and Joanne Jones of Charlestown. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchild; daughter-in-law, Kristina Jones of Boca Raton. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held in Riverside Cemetery on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Alice M. Mansfield

Alice M. (Jackson) Mansfield – 98, of Danvers and formerly of Beverly, Rockport and North Reading, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Hathorne Hill in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Harley F. Mansfield

Born in Beverly, MA on May 21, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Carl W. and Olive (McCallister) Jackson. She attended Beverly Schools and Rockport High School.

In spite of tragedy in her early life, Alice never looked back and dwelt on it, but looked forward and got her pilot license. Alice met and married Harley F. Mansfield, another pilot and started an aerial advertising company in 1953, named Aviad in North Reading.

She and Harley raised two sons together, the younger son Wayne joined the family business. When widowed at age 53, she turned to painting for therapy and became an accomplished artist.

Alice was a member of the Rockport Art Association and Danvers Art Association. She had two sailboats and moored them in Salem, MA. She was an expert seamstress, knitter and gardener.

Family members include her loving sons, Wayne Mansfield and his wife Nancy of Boxford and John Mansfield of Porter, Maine; 4 grandchildren, Ian Mansfield, Lucy Mansfield, Jason Mansfield and Megan Mansfield and nine great grandchildren.
