  1. What a terrific grandfather, father, husband, and friend he was. What a loss he is to all who knew him. I will always remember sailing with him and his son Athan (my grad school advisor) and our late night discussions while sleeping on the boat. A talented man, one could say a modern-day Renaissance man who could have built a house, a boat, anything, if he had the tools, a pencil, and a piece of paper. He came to my PhD dissertation. I will miss him. Sleep well Mr. Kuliopulos.

  2. Unfortunately, we just learned of Theo’s passing. Our condolences to the Kuliopulos family. Theo was a long time member of the Bass Haven Yacht Club joining the club in 1974. This was Theo’s 50 year as a member of the club. He will be missed.

  3. Theo was a long-time (decades) member and board member of the Boston Network Users Group (BNUG). He loved coming to meetings, learning from our presentations, and helping us to run the group. His ideas and comments were helpful and supportive. He would volunteer to man (staff) our table at conferences, which was a big help as others in the group could not due to their day jobs.

My wife and I also enjoyed meeting with Theo and his wife Mary (they loved buffets!), it was a joy and the memories are a treasure. Both were such nice people.

The current president of the user group has commented: “I LOVED Theo. I was always grateful when he was at the BNUG meeting and the board meetings. He was kind, had great common sense, and cared about us. “

Leave a Condolence
