Michael  S.  Snyder – 44, of North Reading, died at his home on Monday May. 29, 2017.

Born on December 10, 1972 in Lynn , MA. Michael was a lifelong resident of North Reading. He attended North Reading Schools and was a graduate of St. John’s Prep. He was a graduate of Merrimack College and he received his Master’s Degree from Brown University. He also received a certificate from Tufts University.

Michael was an Electrical Engineer and IT Technician. He was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in North Reading and a member of IEEE.

Michael was a very thoughtful son, brother and uncle. He loved his nieces very much, he was always there for us and he loved celebrations with family. He was great at telling jokes and making us laugh.

Michael enjoyed playing music and writing songs. He was a very talented musician. He liked dancing and singing. He was a computer wiz. He was great at mind games and had a wealth of knowledge and enjoyed educating himself. He was an extra in several popular movies.

Loving son of Richard and Pamela J. (Ayles) Snyder;  brother of Jessica (Snyder) Mozdiez and her husband Carlson of Acton, uncle of Kate and Samantha Mozdiez.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 3 at 10 AM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 235 Park St., North Reading. Janice C. (Jezowski) Henry – 66, of North Andover, formerly of Andover, North Reading and Wakefield, died at Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Hannah Duston Healthcare in Haverhill.

Born in Lynn, MA on September 30, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Thelma L. (Wilson) Jezowski. Janice was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and Cosmetology School.

Janice worked for many years as a hairdresser, she later became a loving and caring and loving Foster Parent and she also worked as a cook at St. Augustine’s Church in Andover. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Church in North Reading and St. Michael’s Church in North Andover.

She was very outgoing and always wanted to help people. Janice was a foster parent for over ten years and was an advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for over twenty years.

Janice was a very big fan of the arts, including museums, concerts, plays and musicals. She got the greatest joy babysitting her grandsons as well as visiting with friends and family.

Family members include her loving husband of 45     years, John E. Henry, Jr.; her loving children, Christina Henry of Fitchburg, Patrick Henry of Manchester, NH and the late Michelle Henry;  her sister, Jeanie Pigeon of Brockton and late brother, Anthony Jezowski; 4 cherished grandsons, Hunter, Nicholas, Zachaery and Oliver.

Her funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Friday, June 2 at 9:15 AM followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street (Rt. 62), North Reading. Noel N. Hardy – 86, of North Reading, formerly of Raymond, NH, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Burlington, MA on December 25, 1930, he was the son of the late John S. and Bertha (Parshley) Hardy. He was also the son of the late Elsie C. Hardy. Noel was a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1948. He later served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, he was a Sergeant and a member of the 11^th, Army Airborne.

Noel was a member of the National Elevators Union, he worked for Westinghouse and for Otis. He was also worked for the Eastern Mass Bus Company. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 90 in Raymond, NH and a member of the National Elevator Industry, Local No. 4.

Noel loved everyone, he gave all of his heart away. He enjoyed the Red Sox, American Legion, the Bruins, (especially the Eddie Johnson and Jonny MacKenzie era) and he was very patriotic.

Family members include his loving wife of ten years, Margaret E. (MacGibbon) Hardy;  his sons, Steven Michael Hardy and John Scott Hardy; daughters, Lyn Marie Wilson, Nancy Ellen Hardy and Christina Margaret Hardy; sisters, Doris Phyllis Broadhead, Ruth Roberta Bedard and Sandra Grenada; he was the brother of the late Francis Hardy; grandchildren, Elizabeth Wilson Evans, Jared Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Martin Nee, Trish Marchese, Timothy Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Jessica Hardy Bailey, John Hardy, Jonathan Noel Wilson, Carolyn Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Travis Hardy, Nathanael Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Chelsey Hardy and the late April Nee;  great grandchildren, Isaiah Wilson, Chrystopher Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Luke Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Natalia Wilson, Molly Hodgins, Alevis Grace Wilson, Joselynn Alcorn, Haley Wilson, Evianna Alcorn, Emily Marchese, Ethen Bailey, Timothy Marchese, Savannah Wilson, Jackson Wilson, Rosalie Marchese and Gracelyn Wilson. He was the husband of the late Rita C. Hardy and loved her 6 children.

A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Evangelical Church, 105 Haverhill Street, North Reading on Friday, June 2 at 4 PM. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice. Herbert  A.  Peach – 87, of North Reading, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Winchester Hospital.

Born in Chelsea, MA on July 11,1929, he was the son of the late August and Mildred (Jillette) Peach. Herb served in the U.S. National Guard and he worked as a machinist for many years.

Family members include his loving wife of 65 years, Gloria L. (Frederick) Peach; sons, John Peach of Millis and Herbert J. Peach of Pepperell; his daughter, Linda Fitzgerald of North Andover, brothers, John Peach of Wakefield and George Peach of Washington, D.C.; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Laura  M. (Turcotte) Datillo –  83, of North Reading, formerly of Wheaton, Illinois, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the North Shore Medical Center- Salem Hospital.

Born in Salem, MA on November 9, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Gaston and Marie Desneige (LaFrance) Turcotte. Laura attended St. James High School in  Salem, MA.

Laura was a fulltime homemaker and General to the Colonel. She also worked as head chef at the North Reading High School Cafeteria and had several part-time jobs at Filenes.

Laura was a woman of great strength, overcoming a life of chronic illness. She was a woman of few words, but when she spoke everyone listened. Her sense of humor was her ability crack wise. She was a rock, solid citizen, honest and trustworthy. She was a loyal friend and confidant.

Laura loved her grandchildren, beyond belief and was always there for them on a moments notice. She was a patriotic woman and wife of a Marine Corps officer. Laura enjoyed playing cards with lady friends at the Vittori-Rocci in Beverly.

Family members include her beloved husband of 62 years, Louis Datillo; her loving daughter, Desneige M. Datillo of North Reading; sons, Peter K. Datillo and his wife Kate of East Kingston, NH and Matthew A. Datillo and his wife Ginger of Winthrop; Cherished grandchildren, Isabella Grace Datillo, Alexander Louis Datillo and Nicholas Donald Datillo, all of East Kingston, NH; she had 9 late brothers , who all served in World War I and World War II and a late sister Jacqueline Swift.

Her funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Tuesday, May 16 at 9:45 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM, Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street (Rt.62) North Reading, a luncheon will follow at Kitty’s Restaurant in North Reading.
