Teresa L. O’Connor

Teresa L. (Calorio) O’Connor – 77, of North Reading and formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Winchester Hospital.

Born in Cambridge, MA on November 27, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Caroline N. (Accardi) Calorio. She was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge High & Latin School. She retired from Krohne, Inc., where she worked in Accounts Receivables – Credit and Collections. Teri was a vibrant and outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother to Magen and Jarred, sister to Jim and Carolyn and “Aunty” to her nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Teri was also ”mother” to Magen and Jarred’s many friends, offering her home as a gathering spot from when they were children into adulthood. She was happiest when she was in the midst of any family or friend get together where she could feed people and laugh. Teri could be counted on to be in the crowd at countless games, rain or shine, dance recitals, performances and all of life’s special events for her children, her children’s friends, her family, and friends.

Teri loved cooking and sharing her food recipes. She was an avid reader just like her mother. As Teri got older, she decided that she wanted to experience all that life had to offer and decided she wouldn’t say no to any adventure that anyone asked her to join. This led her to a drag show, theatre shows, concerts, countless trips with her family and friends, baseball games and so much more.

  12. I’m very sad to hear this and my deepest condolences to the family.
I had the pleasure of working with Teri at KROHNE starting 13 years ago. She always had a smile and always a joy to talk to. I’m from Georgia and I’ve always enjoyed the many accents from people from all over our country. Teri had the most beautiful New England accent of anyone, and one of the reasons I enjoyed talking with her so much when I did go the the home office. She was always very professional and kind…she will be missed.

  13. I am very sorry to hear the news of Terri’s passing. I had the honor of working with Terri for many years at Krohne Inc. She was always an inspiration with a beautiful shining personality, we all would look forward to being greeted by Terri when visiting the factory from out of state and country. I was glad to keep in touch with her after her retirement and will miss visiting with her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends, as we know the world is a little less beautiful without her.

  15. It has taken me all this time to finally admit to myself that my friend Teri has left this world. A mother, Auntie, and friend, someone you could always rely on for anything. She was a very hard worker, and on her own raised two magnificent children. I will miss her laughter, her beautiful eyes, recipes, and her VERY STRONG “Cambridge accent”. But most of all I will miss our friendship. You are free of pain. Your new adventure has just begun. So Teri, THIS IS YOUR MOMENT, stand up and take a bow for a JOB WELL DONE. God Bless you my friend. Xxxxxx

  16. I didn’t know Teri well, but whenever I saw her at a family event, I understood why she was so beloved. She will be missed, and my sympathies extend to all her many friends and family, especially Magen and Jarred.
