Teresa A. Valente

Teresa A. (Lanteigne) Valente – 59, of Londonderry, NH and formerly of Reading and Atkinson, NH, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Born in Montague, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She was the daughter of the late Hughet and Beatrice (Acorn) Lanteigne.

Teresa completed elementary school also hair dressing school in Malden, MA. Until her kids were grown, she had several full time jobs, she worked for the Lawrence Eagle Tribune, The Pie Guy, Thermal Fisher, RGIS, and other part time jobs. Teresa was a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom.

She loved going to the beach, BBQs with family and hanging out with the kids and their friends. Teresa enjoyed visiting family, trips to PEI, Canada and short trips with family, she tried to make strangers feel like family. She was a fire cracker. She loved her cats and dogs and other animals. She enjoyed doing ceramics, floral arrangements, going to flea markets, antique stores and cake decorating.

Family members include her loving sons, Michael S. Valente and  Ryan M. Valente daughters, Sarah M. Valente and Nicole E. Valente; brothers, Eddie Lanteigne, Johnny Lanteigne , Terry Lanteigne and the late Charlie Lanteigne; sisters, Betty Geist, Mary Putis, Priscilla (Kitty) Lanteigne and the late Leona Greenwood; grand children, Giovanna, Arianna, Christian, Beckford Valente & David P. Doan Valente ,Dominic, Ethan, Bradley, Marley Bea MacDonald, Anthony and Dylan Valente. Also brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9 at 1:00 PM at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street (Rt. 62), North Reading. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by  Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St. , North Reading.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice. www.Croswellfuneralhome.com

  2. Teresa, sorry you left us so young. We miss your energy and smile. I wish you will rejoin your departed family and friends when you arrive at our next stop. Your family and friends here will always remember you and you left us all able to carry on. We too will see you again …I can’t wait to joke with you!!!
