Patricia Ann Martin

Patricia Ann “Pat” Martin born to the late Edward Joseph Martin and May Helena Lamantia at St. Francis Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida on July 24th 1947, passed away suddenly at her Groveland, MA home on May 17th 2022.

Pat graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and then earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Catholic University in Washington D.C. in 1973. She later attended Mass School of Law in Andover. Pat devoted her Career as a Director of Nursing in Long Term Care Facilities for over 40 years. She loved working with the elderly to bring about a better quality of care for patients and their families. Later in her career she passed on her knowledge as a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor for the American Red Cross.

Pat was beloved by her many friends and professional colleagues as well as all of the patients she’s cared for. She treasured her long friendships and always looked forward to Nova Scotia travel. She adored her two dogs Justina and Tede who will forever miss her. Pat has lived her life with a deep unshakable faith in God and the Catholic Church to which she remained faithful up to the very moment of her death.

Friends may honor Pats life by gathering for her services on Thursday, June 2nd at Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street,  North Reading, MA at 10AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM. A Christian Burial will take place thereafter at Lakeside Cemetery, 501 North Ave., Wakefield MA 01880.
