Janice C. Henry

Janice C. (Jezowski) Henry – 66, of North Andover, formerly of Andover, North Reading and Wakefield, died at Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Hannah Duston Healthcare in Haverhill.

Born in Lynn, MA on September 30, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Thelma L. (Wilson) Jezowski. Janice was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and Cosmetology School.

Janice worked for many years as a hairdresser, she later became a loving and caring and loving Foster Parent and she also worked as a cook at St. Augustine’s Church in Andover. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Church in North Reading and St. Michael’s Church in North Andover.

She was very outgoing and always wanted to help people. Janice was a foster parent for over ten years and was an advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for over twenty years.

Janice was a very big fan of the arts, including museums, concerts, plays and musicals. She got the greatest joy babysitting her grandsons as well as visiting with friends and family.

Family members include her loving husband of 45     years, John E. Henry, Jr.; her loving children, Christina Henry of Fitchburg, Patrick Henry of Manchester, NH and the late Michelle Henry;  her sister, Jeanie Pigeon of Brockton and late brother, Anthony Jezowski; 4 cherished grandsons, Hunter, Nicholas, Zachaery and Oliver.

Her funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Friday, June 2 at 9:15 AM followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street (Rt. 62), North Reading. Calling hour will be held on Thursday, June 1 from 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.   2. So sorry to read this….I haven’t seen Janice in several years but what will always be in my mind, is her positive attitude, wonderful smile and soft, caring and kind manner. The world needs more like her. My thoughts and prayers go to all of her family.
