4. I love you Auntie Denise, Uncle Bill and little Billy….anything that you need, I am here and don’t hesitate to ask. I saw soooo much of myself in Erika at her age. From her struggles, and pain to her great sense of humor and love for life. I am grateful to have had you all at my wedding and will hold onto the memories of everyone having fun and sharing in our special day. She was finding her stride and would have achieved such great things in life….this just isn’t fair. My beautiful cousin, you will be missed terribly. This is all so confusing, shocking and just doesn’t even feel real. I take some comfort in knowing you are with grammy and grampy and also my Pa. :+( please give them all a great big hug and kiss for me….I miss you all. <3

6. I miss you and I will always miss you my beautiful little sister. Words cannot begin to express how much I would give to see you one more time. This doesn’t seem real. My world won’t be the same without you. My beautiful Erika, I love you.

7. I never could hang out with Erika and not smile and laugh. I remember when saw Toy Story 3 together (which we balled during) my mom ran over a pot hole driving home and for some reason that spiraled us to fall into a laughing fit the whole way home. My ribs and face hurt from laughing so much. Both you Billy and Erika brought so much light into our childhood. I’ll never forget how, when our dog died in fifth grade, you both cried on the phone with us. You’re our family and our hearts are so broken for all of you. Erika was so special to me. No matter how long we went without seeing each other, my love for her never lessoned. The memories we share makes her my permanent friend. This feels like a bad dream and I can only imagine what you all are going through. We’re thinking of you. We love you and Erika forever.

8. Denise, Bill, and Billy, I was so heart broken to hear this, I wanted to pretend this wasn’t real. Sending my deepest condolences and love to your family. May she rest in the sweetest peace, heaven has gained such an angel! I had such a pleasure to know Erika and play field hockey with her. If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate.     There are no word to express how deeply sorry I am for Erika’s passing. As I sit here reflecting on all the Summer fun we had together from the parks to the zoos to the beach to you guys playing in the sprinkler or riding your bikes and scooters around Rodgers Circle, life is so unfair. May God’s love and the love you have for Erika help guide you all in your grief.
    You will be missed more than words can say sweet little Erika.

Right away you were so sweet and friendly towards me, and we could always have the best late night conversations.
