Anna M. (Festino) Martorana – 86, of North Reading, died Monday, July 18, 2016, at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Martorana.

Born in Boston, MA on December 2, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Raffaela (Bucci) Festino. She was a retired clerical worker for Butterworth Publishing Company in Stoneham. She has been a resident of North Reading for over fifty years.

Anna was a special person, who had many friends from bingo, neighbors and people she met everywhere. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter Joanne, they took many trips to Las Vegas, Florida and also a cruise together.

Family members include her loving daughter, Joanne Martorana of North Reading and her sister, Mary Cormio of Medford. She was the sister of the late Joseph and Antonio  Festino, Theodora Festino, Philomena Cerasuolo, Louise Festino and Angelina Bonanno. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Friday, July 22 from 9 AM, followed by an 11 AM Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St. (Rt. 62), North Reading. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral from 9 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.
