Shelby P. Aims, 59, of North Andover and formerly of North Reading, passed away at her home on November 21, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Stoneham, MA on July 29, 1966. She was the daughter of the late Bayard P. and Margaret A. (Scott) Aims. She was raised and attended school in North Reading and was a graduate of North Reading High School, Class of 1984. She has been a resident of North Andover for the past 5 years.
Shelby worked as a server and waitress for assisted living. She dedicated herself to helping others in need. She was always there to listen to others for who ever needed a helping hand. She was a care giver to all.
Family members include her loving companion 33 years, Patrick McNeil, she was his best friend and right arm; sisters, Sandra Rychwa, Jacqueline Hood and the late Nancy Boucher; brothers, Scott Aims and the late Buddy Aims; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6 from 10 AM to Noon at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading.

Shelby was a life long friend of my sister Dianne. Watched her grow up into a beautiful young woman. She always had a smile and a kind word. God bless and rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the family. . Shelby was a very caring babysitter when I was younger, and years later we ended up working together at an SNF when I was in high school. I always appreciated her caring disposition for others.

So sad to hear this news. Seeing Shelby’s face brought back so many fond memories. She and Dianne were inseparable for years, and I always loved being the 3rd wheel with them.
