Kimberly A. Wright

Kimberly  A.  (Bugley) Wright – 49, of North Reading, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 24, 2017,at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Stoneham, MA on October 14, 1967. Kim was a lifelong resident of North Reading. She was a graduate of North Reading High School, Class of 1985 and North Shore Community College.

Kim was a Sergeant and Law Enforcement Specialist in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1985 to 1989. She was a Registered Nurse for many years. Kim worked for Lahey Clinic in Burlington for twenty years, Merrimack Valley Hospice in Lawrence and currently for Compassus Hospice in North Andover.

Kim was a loving and dedicated mother of two daughters. She was lively and went out of her way to help people. She was loved by all, she had what she needed and worked for everything she had. Kim always laughed a lot.

She still lived in the 80’s, she was an adrenaline junkie, who loved roller coasters and always wanted to go skydiving, Kim loved animals and enjoyed watching real crime investigations on TV.

Family members include her loving daughters, Emma Wright (20) and Hannah Wright (17), both of North Reading; her mother, Sandra L. (Patnoe) Tonn of Pepperell; her sister, Michelle Caissie and her husband Norm of Cape Coral, FL; her grandmother, Genevieve Patnoe of Nashua, NH; her companion, Patrick Moran of Saugus; her former husband, David Wright of Lynn and many loving cousins, nephews and friends.  She was the daughter of the late George R. Bugley, II and sister of the late Douglas Bugley.

Her funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Thursday, March 30, at 9:15 AM, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street, North Reading. Calling hours on Wednesday, March 29 from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading. Garry E. Montgomery

Garry  E.  Montgomery – 72, of North Reading and formerly of Waltham, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Cambridge, MA on December 15, 1944. He was the son of the late Eugene C. and Jane (Mellor) Montgomery. He was raised and attended school in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School.

Garry was the owner of GM Construction Company in North Reading. He has been a resident of North Reading for the past 43 years and attended St. Theresa’s Church.

He was the most kind person who offered nothing but love, he worshiped family and that meant anyone and everyone he accepted into his life. He had a heart bigger than the world and it was open to everyone.

Garry loved carving, animals, lobster and gardening. Most of all he loved his family.

Family members include his loving daughters, Kimberley Windt and Annette Burns-Latsha; late brothers, Wayne C. and Larry Montgomery;  sisters, Sandra Montgomery Linnell, Gail Montgomery Bannon and the late Elizabeth Ann Montgomery and Janey Montgomery; grandchildren, Joseph and Andrew Burns and Kasey Windt;  his long time companion, Leslie Ward and her grandchildren, C.J. and Maddi; many extended family members and friends, including Gerry Jackson Sprague and her family.

His funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Monday, March 27 at 9:15 AM, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street (Rt. 62), North Reading. Calling hours will be on Sunday, March 26 from 1 to 5 PM. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Jack T. Ton

Jack T.  Ton – 45, of North Reading, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.

Born in Dalat, Vietnam on January 1,1972. Jack was a Mechanical Engineer for Amphenol Pcd in Beverly. Jack has been a resident of North Reading for the past 15 years. He enjoyed flag football, tennis and skiing.

Family members include his loving wife Courtney Park; his son, Roman and daughter, Matilda, all of North Reading; his parents, Cuong That Ton and Lan Thi Hoang; his brother, Danny, all of Randolph; his sisters, Tina of West Roxbury, Betty and Aline, both of North Reading.

Funeral service will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Friday, March 17 at 10:30 AM. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 16 from 3 to 7 PM.

Donald K. Roberts

Donald  K.  Roberts, 89, of Boxford and formerly of North Reading for many years, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, in Vero Beach, Florida. He was the husband of Ana Alvarado of Costa Rica and husband of the late Sally Ann (McPartland) Roberts, who died in 1999, after over fifty years of marriage.

Born in Winchester, MA on March 11, 1927, he was the son of the late Harold and Ruth (Elting) Roberts.

Don was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, he originally tried to enter the Army at age 15. He was a former Chairman of the Board of Selectman in North Reading and served as President of the Board of Trade. Don was a local business owner in town for many years and was a member of the North Reading Masonic Lodge. He was entrepreneur, a private pilot, world traveler, T.V. and Ham Radio Operator and Grand Snapper of International Association of Turtles.

Family members include his loving children, Ruth Zarach of Boxford, Lynne Stone of Alton, NH, Dawn Roberts of North Reading, Keith Roberts of Bedford, NH and Todd Roberts of North Andover; 8 cherished grandchildren, Wendy Zarach Marresse, Dylan Roberts, Alicia Dewey, Shawn Casey, Madeline DeNault, Nicholas, James and Ben Roberts; five great grandchildren, Alma, Jake, Sara, Emily and Brayden; step grandchildren, Elena, Karla and Diego and many loving nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Thursday, April 20 from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.

Margaret E. Horton

Margaret  E.  Horton – 97, of Austintown, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Victoria House Assisted Living.

Margaret was born June 8, 1919 in Butler, PA, a daughter of the late Michael and Anna H. (Shuntz) Kimak.

Her husband, Charles E. Horton Sr., whom she married June 17, 1944, passed away March 29, 2002.

Margaret leaves her two sons, Charles E. (Susan) Horton Jr. of Windermere, FL and formerly of North Reading and David C. (Linda) Horton of North Jackson, Ohio; five grandchildren, David C. Horton, Jr., Kenneth R. Horton, Douglas E. Horton, Thomas E. Horton, and Amy Beth Horton; and 14 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held in Austintown, Ohio on Wednesday, March 15. Graveside services will take place on Monday, March 20 at 11 AM in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Rev. Dr. Richard A. Hughes will officiate. www.croswellfuneralhome.com
