Ronald L. Annand

Ronald L. Annand – 85, of North Reading, formerly of Medford, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Beloved husband of 62 years to Frances (Esposito) Annand. Loving father to Ron Annand of Methuen; Scott Annand and his wife Jennifer of Dalton and Sheila Annand Carey of Methuen. Proud grandfather of Domenic, Nathaniel and Zachariah Annand of Dalton and Adam Carey of Methuen.

Ron served in the Army National Guard for many years. Before his retirement, he was employed as a Quality Control Inspector and after his retirement, he ran his own furniture refinishing business. Ron was a sports enthusiast of all levels. He was not only a fan, but he was very involved in town sports including coaching little league baseball, Pop Warner football and softball. He was a longtime parish member of the St. Theresa’s Parish of North Reading including serving as an usher for the last 30 years.

He loved to travel with his wife, children and grandchildren especially on cruises to the Mediterranean and Caribbean. He was passionate about family, food and scratch tickets. No one who knew Ron will ever forget his whistle. When he whistled, you answered. His startling blue eyes and infectious smile will be forever missed, but not forgotten.

Visiting hours will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading, on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 5 – 9 P.M.
