  4. North Reading was fortunate to have had a great statesman involved in community affairs. His legacy will be hidden in the underpinnings of North Readings town government and education. Knowing Bob as I did, it is obvious he was a wonderful man dedicated to his wife and family. I am better to have known him.

  5. Angela and family,
My condolences on the passing of Bob. I knew Bob in passing prior to 1992. In 1992 Bob was appointed to the Hillview Commission, and I got to interface, and see his organization skills, and the ability to plan ahead.
He served on the Commission for @ 12 years, and contributed to the growth of the Enterprise, and was able to see the fruits of what volunteering is all about. It was a pleasure, and an honor to have had Bob in my life. Bob was a contributor to the Town, but more importantly he made the quality of life for our residents that much better.

    Peace!!

  8. To Angela, Rob, Chrissy and David. My sincere condolences over your loss. There are a short list of people in everyone life that make a true impression on ones livelihood and direction, for me, Bob was one of those people. When I lived across the street in North Reading I used to watch out for Bob working on his cars and jumped on any opportunity to help him and learn auto mechanics from him first hand. To this very day I thoroughly enjoy working on my own cars and the fulfilling “garage time” associated with it. Bob also was instrumental in getting me my first real job at Modicon as a draftsman which I worked at summers and weekends during High School. Years later, upon getting my college degree, Bob also helped me secure my first full time job as a mechanical Engineer at Modicon. I have been working within the Hi-Tech Product Engineering community ever since. How can you possibly thank a man for opening so many doors for me as I found my way? The answer is you can’t, you just show your admiration and respect for him as long as possible, I will truly miss my mentor and valued family friend.

  9. Dear Angela and family, we grieve along with you. You all embraced us as part of your loving family all these many years. Bob’s devotion to family, friends and community Will always be remembered. His many contributions to the Town of North Reading will be forever part it’s history. Love to all, John , Flora Silvestro ,family

  10. Dearest Angela,( Mrs Mauceri ) and family, please accept my deepest sympathies and love.

  11. Dear Angela, Rob, Chrissy & David, & everyone in the beautiful Mauceri family, We were so fortunate to have Bob just around the corner with all of you as a close family member & friend. I was telling my children about him and how very smart he was…you could almost see the wheels turning in his head! His quiet confidence and passion always stood out to me. Having close family nearby contributed to so many wonderful memories throughout my childhood.
He was so loved and will be missed by all. My deepest sympathies and love. xoxo

  12. I had the pleasure of working with Bob for more than 10 years when I worked for the school department. Whether it was discussions about budget development or new school construction no one was better prepared than Bob. Although he was oft criticized for it, Bob set the tone for cooperation between municipal government and the school department as he was truly focused on serving the interests of all citizens while devoting many hundreds of volunteer hours to the North Reading community. North Reading has lost a great public servant.
